Like the Inducon folding cover, the slatted roller cover also consists of linked, robust hard pvc slats. The roller cover is stored by winding the slats onto a shaft. There are various ways of positioning the shaft - on the poolside, covered with a bench, for example. But there are also various possibilities for a built-in system, in the pool or under the poolside. To cover free form shaped pools the construction is sometimes integrated into the middle of the pool floor. The slatted roller cover has fully automatic controls. The Inducon slatted roller cover can be made to measure for pools with the most irregular forms imaginable. For this purpose the cover has to be fitted on the broadest part of the pool. In special cases a twin roller is positioned, working towards two sides. In combination with a side rail positioned on three sides approximately 5 cm under the surface of the water, the cover is able to bear the weight of a small child or animal accidentally falling into the pool, the slat cover is not however claimed to be a safety cover.
