YTONG wall elements comply with European Directives and the requirements of the Buildings Decree. The YTONG aerated concrete wall elements have had European Technical Approval (ETA) within the scope of European harmonization since as early as 2003. This ETA 03/2007 has now been extended with an IKOB-BKB certificate that provides the association with the requirements of the Buildings Decree. With this, interior walls constructed using YTONG wall elements comply with the most recent European Directives and the requirements of the Buildings Decree. ETA 03/2007 replaces the KOMO certification with product certificate, including in communications from Xella and in the provision of documents when carrying out work.New from YTONG: the 60-degree blockIn addition to the 30 and 90 degree curved blocks and the Flexiblok®, Xella Nederland is now also introducing a curved YTONG aerated concrete block of 60 degrees. Just like the others, the new block is available in two thicknesses: 70 and 100 millimetres. Both variations are light-weight (3.3 and 4.8 kilos respectively) and have the well-known advantages of aerated concrete. With the new block, YTONG further capitalizes on the trend to curved shapes that has arisen recently and filled the 'gap' between the current curved blocks. The 60-degree block is available from the building materials trade.
