Stretch Ceilings UK Ltd has completed various installations across Europe's largest urban shopping centre, Westfield London. Stretch Ceilings supplied and installed almost 1000 square metres of the multi purpose STRETCH material in many shops ranging from individual boutiques such as Lacoste through to an extensive installation in one of Britain's leading department stores. The Translucent finish was specifically chosen for the entrance of Greek fashion brand No Name, to create a unique and eye catching ‘light tunnel' effect since the stretch membrane has the capability to be installed in varying forms such as pitched, domed and in this case, a 3-dimensional curved feature. Other stores such as MAC and Kurt Geiger have also had the Translucent material installed as a more simplistic yet effective flat diffuser panel offering a substantial 75% transmission of evenly lit illumination. Fluorescent tubes were used behind the membrane to create an even spread of light, although any type of lighting can be used depending upon finishing effects and maintenance regimes. Stretch Ceilings are ideal for the use in retail applications as it is washable, hygienic, non-toxic, 100% recyclable and is now certified to the new Euroclass standard B s1 d0 in accordance with EN 13501.1. Our product comes with an industry leading 12 year guarantee and can be installed anywhere internally from retail applications to restaurant, leisure, hotel, shopping centres and domestic environments. Stretch Ceilings have the ability to create simple or unique ceiling and wall designs in over 250 colours and finishes.
