Dometic is the only miniBar supplier who has decided to branch out into the independent, wireless technology. Installing an automatic system is now as simple as setting up a traditional miniBar. Using the unique iPromatic DOMESH network as a basis, the Hotel does not need to have an existing local wireless infrastructure. Installation is without cables or wires so the miniBar can be located easily and without disruption or fuss. All the Hotel needs is an AC outlet in the room. The new ambient shelves for products like red wine, crisps and snacks can ingeniously be located anywhere in the room on a wireless basis. Only an AC socket is needed.Wireless communication is the standard. The Dometic HiPromatic Communication Network works as a self organising Mesh network DOMESH) which benefits from an integrated learning mode allowing each relevant information to find the shortest way from the miniBar to the server and back. On request, other communication methods are also available – Twisted Pair, Ethernet and Co-axial.The advanced e-field sensing automatic system from Dometic is a progressive and streamlined product. The reliable and maintenance free sensing technology ensures an efficiently run of your miniBar operation.The sensor area is a foil with a completely flat surface, whereby the presence of a product on the top layer of the foil causes a change of the electrical field. This is discovered by a special electronic circuit that etermines the changes of the field strength, whenever a guest takes a drink from the miniBar. The data is then immediately transferred to thePMS of the hotel via the computer system.
