Bald & Bang is now launching Fuse, danish manufactured lamp in milkywhite acrylic, designed by Soeren Refsgaard, new young up-coming designer from Denmark.Fuse is made in 2 sizes for a start, they will be the beginning of a whole serie of lamps, tablelamps, floorlamp etc., made in acrylic tube. The idea evolved when the designer was “playing” around with a piece of paper, how he could fold it in different ways, when folded in one piece, around itself.How could he re-create the same expression in another material?He chose acrylic-tube, cut like the paper folded around itself. When Fuse hangs, you sense the movement of the paper in the shape, and at the same time you get the brilliant milky difused light.The metal holding the acrylic tube, is made in such a way, that it gives minimum of shadows, and the light is spread equally in the tube.Design that joins the contempory with the classic. A clean and beautiful expression….Simplicity is Magic
