The BRP 633604G4G4-XXX-1708 photovoltaic modules were tested in the laboratories of Eurotest Laboratori Srl (credited by Sinal) and passed the test according to the IEC 61215 and IEC 61730 regulations. This regulations determine the procedures which all multi-crystalline photovoltaic modules must be submitted to in order to determine the performances in terms of mechanical resistance and electrical measurements. Those type of certification is a requirement for all panels which are used in subsidized photovoltaic plants according to the DM 19/02/2007. The IEC 61215 regulation submits the module to 18 tests which simulate the worst case scenario of working conditions which the panel could operate in, after being installed. Therefore, the regulation does not only take into consideration the panel's electrical performances, but evaluates also the mechanical characteristics and the capacity of resisting to bad weather conditions for the whole of the photovoltaic modules' life. The IEC 61730 regulation determines the module's security range and the test procedures, which are done to a representative sample and can be extended to the entire mass production. The passing of the European technical requirements ensures the reliability and the quality of the product itself. TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS OF BRP633604G4G4-XXX-1708 The module is laminated with Glass-EVA-Glass, with 36 3 bus bar cells of 6”(156mmx156mm). It contains 36 multi-crystalline silicon cells of the highest quality, strictly selected. Each module has a 4 mm tempered highly transparent extra clear glass that allows a good light permeability protecting the cells to atmospheric conditions as hail, snow and ice. The frame-less module has been designed to be installed in architectonic building where the surrounding landscape becomes part of the structure itself. The module is 1755x809 mm , with a thickness of 10 mm. It is 29 Kg ca. and it has a nominal power of 125-130-135-140 Wp.
