TESS Backlit Views to Nature™ in the form of Virtual Windows and Virtual Skylights are specifically designed to meet the goals of the emerging healthcare market's desire to implement evidence-based design within their medical model and the patient's desire for positive, stress reducing distractions which create supportive and spirit based healing environments. TESS backlit Virtual Skylights and Virtual Windows are easy to install and are recognized as a value-added benefit by patients, physicians and facilities as well as leading equipment manufacturers who view them as a complement to their equipment. The TESS Virtual Skylights generally replace the diffuser panels in standard fluorescent light boxes but can be cut to any shape and size, including circular. TESS Standard Virtual Skylights can be made as small as 2' x 2', 2' x 4', 4' x 4' and can grow to any size application using these smaller sizes as building blocks to the size you desire. Larger images can be paneled to 10' x 28'. Subject matter permitting, our original 6 x 17 images have successfully been enlarged to 14' x 40' with total clarity. Cloud images, because of the subject matter for example are good candidates to go larger—20' tall x 56' wide. We would more than welcome odd or custom configuration based on your personal needs. TESS can supply circular frame and grid work for 4', 6', 8', 10', 12' and 14' applications. TESS Standard Virtual Windows are made in: 30” x 40”; 36”x 36”; 36” x 48”; 36” x 72”; 48” x 48”; 48” x 60”; 48” x 72”; 48” x 84”; 48” x 96”. These are wall mounted or recessed and can be applied on the Vertical or Horizontal. For custom sizing, please call for a quote. Our expansive, dynamic images are taken from a wide variety of photographers who utilize large format photographic images. TESS uses high resolution * duratransparencies with a proprietary coating for all their photographic images. These are not inkjet or giclée. These can be installed anywhere to change the ambience in procedure rooms, waiting areas leading to treatment, recovery and step down areas, Birthing Rooms, ICU/PICU/CCU, Cardio-Cath, Radiation Oncology, Dialysis, Radiology and Imaging areas--even cafeterias, emergency rooms or chapels where family members may wait can be enhanced by gazing on colorful floral gardens, pristine sandy beaches, majestic mountains or soft clouds in a striking blue sky.
