Spotlight presented at PLASA 2009 the new MidiLED, a compact 80W in RGBW spot with Zoom from 12° to 50°. This new high efficiency and density LED product allows to create both infinite colour combinations for theatre and concerts, and, in alternative, the projection of white light with a selection of colour temperatures from 2900°K to over 6000°K, for Photo, Cinema and TV use. Furthermore, the real life of almost 50.000 hours of the light source makes this product particularly suitable in the architectural applications. The single fixture has a modular structure and it can be assembled in line or arrays, depending on the need. Every single unit can be used as “stand alone”, with preset light shades or dynamic effects; alternatively it can be controlled through DMX, both to generate colour effects, and to select different colour temperatures. It is possible to configure every system unit as master or slave so to manage the performance of the whole group from one single fixture. In addition, an IR remote control is foreseen as accessory allowing the user to control more fixtures without the need of a dedicated line. The new MidiLED spot presented at PLASA confirms once more the continuous commitment of Spotlight in the research and development of products using the most advanced technology.
