Scheherazade Fortuny® in its contemporary version has been shown for the first time at the Light & Building 2008 - Frankfurt international exhibition A lamp with an evocative name conjuring up the magnificence of the Orient. Its elegant three tier structure has the form of an upside down pagoda and is suspended by a delicate net of cords decorated with Murano glass beads. Given its characteristics and size, Scheherazade is made in silk only. Its lightness simplifies and facilitates assembling and maintenance of the lamp. FORTUNY® lamps are produced in Venice exclusively by Venetia Studium Srl, the only company in the world entitled to use the trademark. Sophistication, refined techniques, a high quality finish and attention to detail are the distinctive features of each original lamp bearing the FORTUNY® trademark.
