In recent years FAAC's new Hybrid technology is rapidly affirming itself as one of the most significant innovations in the world of automated systems for gates. This technology was sparked by the idea to unite the advantages of hydraulics (power, long-life, reliability, intense use) - always FAAC's feather in the cap – with those of the 24V motors, which allow very precise movement, and enable the use of emergency batteries in the event of power cuts. The result of this is a high-tech product with extreme safety standards.S450H is the new hydraulic operator for FAAC swing leaf gates. S450H is very easy to install, thanks to its multi-position adjustable brackets and to its long travel (311 m), which make it compatible with most installation conditions (e.g. avoiding the need for niches in the pilasters). Moreover, S450H has an innovative completely hermetic hydraulic circuit, and all power and speed adjustments are effected through the control board and no longer through valves. The S450H operator has a Bus absolute encoder, integrated on the rear bracket, which enables perfect control of the operator's speed and position along its whole travel. Furthermore it ensures extremely high precision in obstacle detection and reversing speed, allowing compliance of the system to European safety regulations. The S450H operator can be controlled – according to application - by boards E024S and E124, the latest boards produced b FAAC. The E024S board is a simple to program board and offers performances typically suitable for residential applications, instead the E124 offers extremely high programming flexibility of all installation parameters (also via PC and dedicated software with X-COM wireless device), and higher performance (e.g. power, speed, etc.) making it suitable also for advanced and professional applications.
