Symbol of the smart charm of the past British bathrooms, and more and more researched by the new generations of vintage products addicts; the famous claw feet cast iron bathtub starts a new life. Visiting the bathroom of a Norman cottage where throned a magnificent bathtub in enameled cast iron " legs of lion ", the idea to associate this traditional material with a more contemporary material appeared as an evidence to the designer Boris Bracq. The wedding of the cast iron and the stainless steel is born! Inspired by the curves of the constellation of Orion for the drawing, Boris designed his new ORION bathtub in a ring of stainless steel. The bathtub in traditional cast iron so redrawn takes a determinedly contemporary accent. As suspended in the air, ORION appears as an incredible bed of relaxation … Cast iron, is the greenest material you can ever imagine: 85% recycled material (rails of railroad, falls of the car industry …) and 100% recyclable are used to cast such bathtubs. Very worried about the environment, OXAME watches that its process of manufacturing joins a step of very ethical sustainable development. Unique to the world, the fully computerized vacuum manufacturing process of OXAME's cast iron bathtubs, reuse the sand of the moulds day after day, without generating any waste. ORION bath is: H. 65 X l: 90 X L: 200 cms Thickness of the cradle in stainless steel: 3 cm Exists in copper-colored / stainless, titanium / stainless steel, black / stainless, white / stainless and on inquiry in all the RAL colors.
