Oberflex chose to call upon the 5.5 Designers agency to conduct reflection about Obersound panels, and to propose a new collection of panel offering and entirely new response to architects and specifiers. The development of the new production tools in collaboration with 5.5 designers, offers Oberflex Original possibilities of creation for its acoustic panels More than just a catalogue of acoustic performances, they introduced a collection concept as done in the fashion world. There proposals now offer a real potential for architects, who are increasingly sensitive to the details of their construction. With the new Obersound collection, the acoustic panel becomes an instrument for imagination and architectural environments. Beyond its technical qualities, it finds a new graphic identity that enhances the environment in which it is used. The 5.5 designers conducted a conceptual and technique reflexion that lead to that lead to the creation of 5 new collections suggesting skin, textiles, vegetation, climate or even sound waves...
