As of 2009, VMZINC® will be sporting a new logo and new colours, with a new visual identity that symbolises and conveys the strategic and functional changes that have taken place within the company.By merging the words “VM” and “ZINC”, the company is clarifying its brand architecture and strengthening its position as a Building Envelope industrial. The logotype is now the parent brand - a reference for all our products, systems and services.* A new visual identity for a new positioning of our offerIn order to provide specific solutions that are constantly adapting to the needs of each professional, VMZINC® is segmenting its offer and its teams: the reorganisation of the marketing teams (Architectural and Accessories/RainWater Systems segments) will enable the requirements of architects and companies to be met even more accurately with a coherent offer, increased visibility of products and greater responsiveness to develop innovative solutions. This choice of segmentation was informed by two surveys (one internal and one external), which confirmed that VMZINC® enjoys exceptional positive recognition: its partners expressed a strong attachment to the brand and associated VMZINC® with the values of reliability, quality and proximity. VMZINC®'s new image is naturally based on these values. * Innovation, modernity, audacityMore modern, more visible, the new logotype elegantly and simply expresses VMZINC®'s choice of openness, modernity and excellence.By abandoning the square shape and the dark background (grey and black), a reference to its mining past, in favour of a modern shape with bright colours, VMZINC® is expressing its true identity - that of a company looking towards the future, intent on understanding its customers' needs and asserting its leadership, its dynamism and its capacity to innovate. It is part of an overall identity system that integrates all the commercial subsidiaries of the company and all its communication tools*– printed media, advertisements, exhibitions and events, Internet sites and supports in partner organisations – and it will be progressively implemented throughout 2009.
