Two leading businesses in the climate sector, Biddle and Daikin, have joined forces in developing a unique “plug and play” climate concept for shops and public buildings. Two different systems are offered within this energy-conscious climate control concept: model CAV and model CITYQ. Integration of Biddle CAV-air curtain & Daikin VRV-system The Biddle comfort air curtain, model CAV, can be combined with the Daikin VRV-system (heat recovery and heat pump). This climate concept provides heating, cooling, ventilation and climate separation in one integrated and low energy installation. The integration of model CA with the VRV system gives optimal climate separation in the open doorway and guarantees a low-energy and comfortable indoor climate throughout the year, much to the delight of both employees and customers. Stand alone Biddle CITYQ - air curtain & Daikin ERQ heat pump The Biddle comfort air curtain, model CITYQ, can be combined with the Daikin ERQ-heat pump. This combination is used if only an air curtain for climate separation in the open doorway is required. The Biddle air curtain is connected to the DAIKIN ERQ heat pump, which supplies the required energy for heating. The ERQ heat pump extracts energy from the ambient air. This energy source is sustainable and free. Heat pumps require only a small amount of electricity to convert the ambient air into comfortable heat.
