Membrane technology constitutes a combination of conventional activation process and a very effective separation of solid ( activated sludge) and liquid phases (treated wastewater). The mechanically pre-treated water is aerated, biologically treated and later due to membranes cleaned of all solid substances bigger than the size of membrane pores of 0.000035 mm. Only the particles smaller than the diameter of pores may come into the filtrate (permeat) from the filtrated medium. WWTP AS-VARIOcomp ULTRA is used for activation aerobic membrane treating of wastewater which are not convenient or possible to be connected to a local sewage system. To these objects belong: houses, residential areas, tourist resorts, hotels, car campings, etc. or 3 to 150 population equivalents (for 1 EO is considered BOD5 of 60 g/day, amount of wastewater is 150 l/day). General advantages water is hygienically (bacterially) secured use of wastewater for watering, washing clothes, bathing,washing cars, water for flushing can be used in areas where seepage is not allowed ecological solution quality of the water can be compared to rainwater reducing of volume of new WWTP compared to a classical treatment plant intensification of current WWTP
