Press: Livink Floor® introduces WoodTongue ®Wood is a lively natural product that exhibits change when exposed to different atmospheres and different levels of humidity. In order to reduce these changes, multilayered wooden floors have been offered and preferred over solid wooden floors. Although multilayered floors are much less subject to change, in (too) low humidity (less than 40%) change is however inevitably. In this way, the underlayer of the multilayered floors can become visible, where as solid wooden floors do not have this. This effect is even more pronounced when wooden floors are used in combination with floor heating.Wood Tongue ® offers an innovative solution. WoodTongue ® is an innovative tongue-groove connection for multilayered wooden floors where the top layer contains the dental connection.The top layer of wood is placed on the tooth. WoodTongue ® ensures that all the benefits of a solid wooden floor are present, without the disadvantages of excessive force by strongly changing humidity.The Wood Tongue ® system is now applied to all Livink Floor ® multiplex parts and is available with a top layer of 7mm and 4.5 mm.
