Delano, Minn. (Nov. 5, 2008) — Landscape Structures Inc. has been named the small and growing company recipient of the Green Award at the 2008 Tekne Awards, which were held at the Minneapolis Convention Center on Oct. 30. The Tekne Awards honor superior technology advancement and leadership in Minnesota.Landscape Structures, located in Delano, is a leading manufacturer of commercial playground equipment. The company has long been dedicated to providing healthier, more environmentally-preferable playgrounds through refining their development and manufacturing processes. Each of its manufacturing facilities hosts a “Green Board,” which is used by employees to post daily updates on environmental challenges and delivers monthly progress presentations to management.
