The [IRC] modular concept is based on the open and interoperable LonWorks® Technology. It allows the process control of all office comfort functions as HVAC (Heating Ventilation & Air Conditioning), Lighting and sunblind. The HVAC room controller and its Light and Sunblind add-on modules can be associated in a modular way and in a single LON® node. An unique and innovative concept, LonMark® certified. - 3 products in 1: HVAC, lighting and Sunblind. Only 1 module (the IRC-SRC) has to be configured to enable the 3 functions (on the LonWorks® network, the [IRC] configuration is defined for only one office and can be duplicated in all other offices - for a same application). - A modular solution which allows driving HVAC, Light and/or Sunblind functions with add-on modules (free combination). One of the most attractive and cost-effective combination allows to control HVAC and Lighting with an IRC-SRC associated to a DALI add-on module (1 DALI add-on module for 2 rooms). Other benefits : - Simple and quick to install: RJ9/RJ11 digital link with a secure plugging system to make the connection easier and faster. - Cable lengths savings (modules are installed near devices control) - Energy savings with a multi-energy regulation : 50 to 60% with Light control (presence, detection, dimming and occupancy) and 25 to 45% with HVAC control (T°C, window contact & time schedules…) A well-suited solution for: - Buildings renovation (when rooms architecture is not really flexible) - Various sizes Buildings, with or without frames (complex configuration)
