Each piece, hand engraved, challenges the senses through its play on light and its textured surfacesThe mission of HMD Interiors is to provide unique and original interior concepts composed of quality furniture and accessories for retailers, architects and decorators.Based in Porto, Portugal, Director General Graça Cardoso da Silva's vision of HMD Interiors is the result of a rich experience covering all aspects of the furniture business – from conception to retailing – and extendind to four continents.Teamed up with Paris based Argentine designer Fabián Pellegrinet since November 2007, HMD Interiors has moved beyond its minimalist origins and creating original furniture lines based on four guiding lines: Versatility, Relaxed Elegance, Quality, and Competitiveness.The new collection designed by Fabián Pellegrinet takes its inspiration from the 1950s and the metropolitan glamour of the time. Pellegrinet's main goal is to express the idea of relaxed elegance while designing places that are simple enough to integrate into a variety of interior styles and a versatility that allows them to be used in different rooms and for different functions. The rich finishes in Coffee, Walnut, Gold as well as Gray lacquer of our wooden collection marry perfectly with the selection of fabrics for our upholstered furniture, creating an atmosphere that expresses both relaxed elegance and metropolitan glamour.Supported by an extensive network of independent boutiques and interior architects, HMD Interiors products are offered in over 30 countries in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. HMD Interiors also proposes custom designs and can provide signature lines for large-scale projects via close collaboration between the client, HMD Interiors design department and production facilities.
