GRC is a composite material with a cement matrix, mainly composed by concrete and fine grain inert materials, reinforced by alkali-resistant zirconium glass-fibres, since the cement environment is mostly alkaline.The additional acrylic co-polymers give GRC an appropriate watertightness and make it last longer.The stability of the GRC resistance values has nearly been reached after more than 30 years of researches, ensuring its everlasting features.The excellent GRC mix design is in function of the manufacturing technology, of the final shape and the engineering performance features.
