The prestigious ELLE DECORATION worldwide network awarded the Faraway Collection with the extremely important ELLE DECORATION DESIGN AWARDS. Selected by the 25 editorial offices of the Group for the eighth edition of the prize, the Faraway Collection is the protagonist of the bathroom design category. The award ceremony will be held during the forthcoming Salone del Mobile, in Milano, April 15th 2010. One year from its presentation (ISH 09), Faraway Collection – the first complete and complex collection for the bathroom ambience, designed by Ludovica+Roberto Palomba and proposed by brands Zucchetti and Kos, has already encountered enormous success and international recognition. RED DOT AWARD: COMMUNICATION DESIGN for the collection's video-stories. The most innovative corporate design, advertising and interactive media projects have been awarded with this renowned prize. PRODUCT INNOVATION AWARD_BATHROOM GOLD, for the Faraway/Vis-à-vis bathtub. This important recognition, promoted by British magazine Designer, celebrates and honors the pioneering products of 2009 and highlights the fundamental role of designers and companies in creating novelties and changes within the domestic environment. CERSAIE AWARD 2009 for the best bathroom furniture stand focused on the Faraway Collection. Designed by Ludovica+Roberto Palomba, the stand expressed a new ‘world of wellness': a showcase of approx. 250 sqm, in which end-users and customers were able to embark on a ‘veritable emotional journey' among the elements of this collection. A year of success for a unique and vanguard collection, destined to overturn for ever obsolete rules, and design a new iconography for the bathroom ambience.
