YesBox, design Yrjö Wiherheimo 2005.In 2005, the Stockholm Furniture Fair was graced with another Yrjö Wiherheimo concept – the Yesbox Collection. The fresh, clean design went more than skin deep for satisfying design and architectural needs. The construction allowed for a soft outside appearance to be complemented with comfort provided by embedded laminated sheets deep inside the cushions. They not only maintain the form, but also provide unusual comfort. The back and models with side panels provide a reassuring “springing” action that responds with a gentle give that makes the cushions feel alive. YesBox is a versatile, modular armchair and sofa system, where the seating modules (with or without arm rests) are fitted with an individualized base for each seat or with a longer integrated tubular base. The steel frame tube is 20x50 mm and the thickness is 1.5 mm. The padding thickness is 170 mm with a volume density for the seats and arms of 50 kg/m3 and the backs 35 to 50 kg/m3.Measurements: YesBox -1, w 560 x h 790 x d 730, YesBox -2/L, w 705 x h 790 x d 730, YesBox -2/R
