AQUABIT: Waterproofing bituminous mortar for foundations

Aquabit® is a bituminous one-component paste waterproofing, with polystyrene micro-pearls, suitable to waterproof foundation walls and vertical castings in contact with ground, concrete and brick floors where the final concrete layer is cast, flower boxes. Thanks to its peculiar structure and composition, Aquabit® can be applied by concrete float or airless, and can reach the recommended thickness of 2 mm, in order to obtain the right waterproofing level, just with only one coat. Moreover, Aquabit® is an highly elastic product, resistant to crack bridging and UV-rays proof. Thanks to the polystyrene micro-pearls, it works as a real waterproofing smoother that guarantees a continuous waterproofing coating, without any joint or overlaps, also on rough surfaces; with just one coat it can restore and waterproof those foundation walls that show irregularities, gravel, etc… in a much easier way than a liquid waterproofing. If applied on vertical casting in straight contact with ground, we strictly recommend to protect Aquabit® with a draining sheet (see Dreno®-1).
