AMV SteelWorks is the first SolidWorks® based solution completely dedicated to the design of steel constructionsWarehouse, Latticed works, Stairs, Bridges and any type of industrial and non industrial constructions.AMV STEELWORKS streamlines the workflow to design metallic carpentry with SolidWorks. Totally and perfectly embedded in SolidWorks, AMV STEELWORKS has been conceived according to the latest criteria of Building Information Modelling (B.I.M.). In this way the user can create, manage and share through the network the information concerning all the stages of the building process, including general arrangement, detailed or fabrication drawings, bill of materials and NC files. It includes a SQL database that allows for an advanced and organic management of the contracts.The 3D system is largely used in AMV STEELWORKS, due to itsimmediacy and its profitable potentials.Layout based design and managementThe Layout assembly provides a straightforward parametric control of the whole geometry.AMV STEELWORKS' Layout assembly is an intelligent component that can be driven by configurations.Cost-effective components based designAMV STEELWORKS streamlines the SolidWorks component based design of steel structures. Why reinventing the wheel? In few minutes a brand-new job could be made up from reused custom components (i.e. in the illustration you can see a reuseable, fully parametric, stair flight). The designer can add a parametric and associative behaviour to his models and than the same ones could be easily modified to fit the new layout requests.
