AGi32 produces full color renderings automatically each time calculations are processed in Full Calculation mode, it is not a secondary process nor does it generate additional overhead for the calculations. AGi32 provides Radiosity renderings by default, view dependant Ray trace images may be computed as a secondary process. The Radiosity renderings allow you to interactively move through the environment and view all of the surfaces without having to recalculate. In the Radiosity renderings, all surfaces are assumed to be perfectly diffuse (Lambertian) which permits complete interactivity of the model after a single calculation. In Ray traced images, surfaces may be diffuse, specular or transparent. Ray Traced images have to be independently generated for each viewing location, regardless of the surface reflection or transmission characteristics.
