Acriflex Fybro: Fibre-reinforced waterproofing liquid membrane, no mesh needed.

After Acriflex Winter, DiaSen realized Acriflex Fybro® , the elastic cement-based fibred waterproofing, aimed to all such waterproofing of surfaces included between 1 and 20 m².We avoid the needs of fibreglass or non-woven fabric for this kind of applications. Acriflex Fybro® is suitable for application on balconies and terraces which presents complex geometries and not wide surfaces, where the applicator could check in a proper way the right quantity and thicknesses to ensure a perfect waterproofing on every squared metre he is working on.The only accessory that is coupled with Acriflex Fybro® System is the elastic band Safety Joint, that has to be applied on all most critical waterproofing points such as: construction joint (between concrete castings), expansion joints, horizontal and vertical connections and all the discontinuity elements of the treated surface (pipes, reinforcement bars, etc.).A safe waterproofing is an elastic and easy-to-apply one. By means of Acriflex Fybro®, we got reducing at minimum applicator failure possibility. No weldings, cold application, extreme liquidity and easy application are the key points that allow Acriflex Fybro® system to be the ideal one to waterproof terraces and balconies. It does not need any fibreglass or no-woven fabric mash, thanks to the micronized fibres included in its structure. It can be easily made suitable for pedestrian passage (10 years guaranteed system) applying a protective synthetic coating or a tiled one (by means of outside-use glue). The product can be applied by roll, PVC floor squeegee or airless, it dries in ½ hour, it is 60% elastic (the product is to be considered already reinforced) and UV proof. It does not need any additional coating, in fact it does not deteriorate and does not suffer “grass effect” (due to product superficial damage caused by UV rays, fibres tend to rise like grass blade. This causes traction resistance and waterproofing problems on applied product). It keeps flexible till -25°C , tolerates sudden changes of temperature (till +60°C) and numerous freezing/defrosting cycles. It can be applied until a minimum temperature of +5°C and until a maximum temperature of +35°C.
